Where do I read about the Serialize Method in the help file?

If I go to the Help menu -> Index and type in "Serialize" I get tons of
stuff that seems irrelevant to my needs. All I want to do is read about the
definition of Serialization. How do I do that? Shouldn't I be able to type
in "Serialize" in the search box and see "Serialize Method" in the list?

In classic VB it was so easy. Here is seems so hard. How do you use the help
file? What basic assumptions that worked in classic VB have changed? In VB6,
I could simply type in the object in the Object browser and hit F1.

You decide *which* Serialize method you're interested in, and look
there (ie in that class).

I suspect all of it would be relevant to *someone's* needs though.

You could try typing in "serialization" in the index - that's more
likely to give you a general overview.
