I want to use a music download program however, there are many to choose
from. I am looking for one that is legal, compatible with windows and free
or charges a monthly fee. Any suggestions from persons knowlegeable about
these services?
Thanks.

Windows Media Player, Apple iTunes, Napster, etc. All are free and are
associated with an online store or stores. If you are talking about peer to
peer programs, I believe that the Supreme Court just outlawed them.

JB, I use eMusic.com. It costs less than $25 for downloading 90 tracks.
Most are in albums, but there are less expensive "programs" than that. They
also give you some free stuff to start off.

FREE's aways is good.

Try iTunes for Windows.
Or, use one of the many other downloaded Music services on the market.
