I have been looking and looking for a backup utility that either burns
directly to CDR or that fires up a burning program at it's completion and
puts in an ISO image to be burned. anything out there?
Thanks,
Toy

Daemon Tools will take a CD image, such as an ISO file or BIN/CUE
combo and mount the image, creating a virtual CD-ROM drive. This drive
acts entirely like the original CD, right down to being able to
autorun the disc image. I have not felt the need to purchase a CD
burner thanks to the ingenuity of this product.

yeah, but what do you do with the 700meg file that sits on your hard drive?
I need to export the back-up to some kind of removable media so I don't fill
up my HDD

Thanks for the links John,
I went to every one of them and can't quite find exactly what I am looking
for but maybe I need to look deeper at freeware world. I appreaciate the
links though.

Natso backup 3.0 will do this. Not free though.
Back4win creates multiple 600mb (or whatever size you specify) zipfiles,
which you can then burn with nero etc.
Backup to CD-RW/Made Easy works well, but you need to have packet-writing
software (directCD) installed.
