Looking for 35mm slide and negative film scanner

Greetings,
I have an HP S20.
I would like to replace it, but I don't really know where to find a good
comparison of film scanners.

Can you direct me to a good review site?
Can you suggest a film scanner for 35mm slides and negative film?

Canon, Minolta, and Nikon make good 35mm scanners. Any scanner worth buying
does a good job on both slides and negatives.

My own scanner is a Nikon LS-40. I have a lot of old negatives whose colors
have shifted a lot. The ROC feature was able to resurrect most of them.

is a good place to start. A bit out of date (about a generation behind
in fact) but very informative.

If you're looking at the Minolta Scan Dual III, take a look at this web
page. It's a pretty good review from a fairly accomplished photographer who
bought the Minolta as his first "film scanner".
