look up wizard ?

i'm using an employee table to pull names from for a lookup list in another table. i can't seem to get the list in alphabetical order. i've tried to save the emp table in alpha order, but it doesn't seem to work. any suggestions. thanks.
 
Don't use the lookup feature...the table itself is actually holding the ID
number from the other table, but you can't see it.
