Long seek time

just a quick time, i recently brought a dvd writer to replace my cd writer. When i burn music cds they burn fine, but when i use them in my car stereo or a CD PLAYER when i try to skip a track it seems to take ages for the cd player to access the track and play it like over 10 seconds instead of a a few seconds. BUT if put the music cd in my home entertaiment dvd player, when i skip a track i finds it like normal a few seconds at the most

is there some sort of explation for this

im using nero 7 to burn and a LG gsa 4167b

let me no what u think it could be

thanks for the reply, but i have sorted out the problem now, it was my firmware for my dvd writer, i upgraded it and now there isnt a problem
