long save time, usual suspects not guilty

Hi,

If anyone can help me I sure would apprciate it.

I have fp 2003 running on XP pro which I use to edit pages over an
internall network on SBS 2003.

It takes me a long time to open folders, pages, and save pages on my
client.

I am looking for a setting on the client machine to fix this problem. I
had fixed it a year ago, but my HD failed(boo) so I am using a
different machine. In fact, I am using a different login on a machine I
applied the fix to, I just can't remember it.

It's not a cach issue, or too many temp files, because this is a brand
new account with no temp files or chace.

Also, if I edit two pages, the first one takes a while to save, then
the second one saves fast. This is a network issue relative to fp. But
it is not a network issue, our network is fine, its some setting in fp
or network settins like 'persist network connection' or something like
that.

The server is fine, worked great yesterday, the network is fine, worked
great yesterday, the only thing that changed are my user settings.

If anyone can help, I would appriciate it,

Hi, thanks I added my internal server 192.168... to my trusted sites in
IE and that did the trick.
