Long load time for Outlook Express

Everytime I load Outlook Express, it takes about a minute of displaying the
splash screen before opening the program. Not only that but AIM opens up
(yea, everytime) within a few seconds. Just wondering if anybody knew why.
Running Windows XP SP2, on a dell laptop.

Most people here use the Microsoft Office Outlook component. It would be
easier for you to get a reply in an Outlook Express group such as
news://msnews.microsoft.com/microsoft.public.outlookexpress.general
