Up in South London visiting friends, is it just me or is everyone shopping for a month all of a sudden?
Shops only closed for 2 days but it's as if people are panic buying!

We have had frost for five days in a row now . Its best to be prepared for the worst . It might snow .

hold on would that be down in south london
or up in south london?

which is it to be?

Well, if you came from Manchester I guess that would be 'down' to London and if you arrived from Brighton that would be 'up' to London.

That's the way I see it anyhow but lots of peeps express this differently, which never fails to bemuse me :)

As for the North/South divide, it's simple - anybody living north of Watford is a primitive hairy neanderthal who eats curry sauce with chips and is probably a football fan :p

I don't fully agree I beleive between the north and south is the middle and that's the midlands.
I reckon around about Leeds and north of Leeds is proper north england.

Places like Birmingham, Leicester, Coventry or Nottingham are more central England or midlands for me.

There must be some sort of marker for a north and south division of England.

I dont like Christmas & i know a lot who dont.
That said i will go with friends on the day to celebrate.
After all if they invite me as a guest then i should be polite & go and enjoy the day.

Cool I like being at home watching the Queen then falling asleep to "the spy who loved me."

Brilliant.
