It's that time of year again, where I'm trapped within my road, can't drive anywhere until the Marathon passes on and they open the road again. It passes about 100 metres from my front door.

Here's some pictures, there's a fella of 101 years old running this year :eek:

I would hazard a guess he's a non-smoker ;)

I don't actually care for the Marathon myself so didn't even go take a look, I'm not a great fan of sports I'm afraid.

I can understand the spirit though and I guess it's a good thing, all in all :)
 
I wonder if anyone members here are running it? :)

That 101 year old guy is brilliant :D He always seems to be on the news! On his training for the marathon he kept on stopping off for a pint

How long do you think your cat (edit, I mean car!) will be stuck for, just a couple of hours?
 
That 101 year old guy looks familiar, I think he is in FHM every month

Does anybody know if he managed to complete it?
 
I remember last year it was noon before I could get out of here. I wasn't going anywhere in my car today so it didn't bother me.

No sign it was ever there right now, apart from a few crowd control barriers.

i believe that guy is called buster, as if being 101 aint enough he drinks AND smokes !!
