I have not been able to run my first scan on beta 1.
Every time the scan gets as far as scanning logonui.exe
the program freezes and I can't continue. Anyone got
ideas as to what I can do next? I try sending an error
report to microsoft but I get the message that I am not
connected to the internet - which I am!
My computer is running so slow my eighty year old mother
could catch it!

Try running a full systems scan in safe mode with the following products:

Ad-Aware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com
Spybot - http://www.safer-networking.org/
CWShredder - http://www.intermute.com/products/cwshredder.html
Spy Sweeper - http://www.webroot.com
Ccleaner - http://www.ccleaner.com

then run a scan with Microsoft AntiSpyware.
