Logons Hang Terminal Server

I am writing to inquire about an issue I am experiencing.

Here is a link to a similar post, I have already tried everything here
and more: http://groups.google.com/[email protected]&rnum=1

I am also experiencing this same issue. Administrators (both Domain
and Local) can login to the terminal server; however regular Domain
Users can not. There appears to be some sort of script running (if I
temp make them a member of the admins group) but I do not know where
it is coming from.

These users used to have roaming profiles which we have removed (the
local admin broke them). The main server is an SBS2000 box and the
terminal server is a Windows 2000 member server with terminal services
only.

I am baffled as to why it hangs on this blue screen after
authentication. It acts like it can't find a profile; however we are
using local profiles on the TS and a template user was setup properly
and copied to the Default User with apporpriate permissions. I have
even tried to hard code the profile after having it created while they
were a member of the admins group.

I am lost. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.

What happens if a new (non-admin) user logs on that never had a roaming profile? If this works fine then you know the problem is with the users profile.

Please start reading from page 4 of Brian Madden's performance tuning whitepaper, which covers how to debug the logon process. I could regurgitate the contents here but there's no point in reinventing the wheel.
