logon to pop-server problems

I am able to send e-mails but I can't receive them I'm being asked to verify
that both my username and password are correct when I enter the info the box
still pops up please HELP!!!!

You might get a better answer if you show the whole error message, what ISP
gives you your internet connection, and which email program you are using.
