Hi NG,
i've bought an Computer with w2k on it, but i do not have the password.
I want to install a new OS on it. Therefore i want to have the
Information on the grafics, sound and so on to get the right drivers.
Is there a possibility to get these informations?
thanks
justin

What is the computer ?

Is it name brand ? If so what and model.

If it isn't name brand, open the chassis. Everything should be there silk-screened on each
component.

Write back to post please.

Greetings --

If the person who sold you the computer could not give you the
necessary password(s), then there's a good chance that the computer
was stolen. Consult your local law enforcement agency before you
inadvertently get in trouble for receiving stolen property.

Easily:

Go to their web site. Lookup the model and *all* the information "should" be available.

If the manufacturer fails to post this information then they are crap and you have junk on
your hands. All reputable manufacturers of quality systems post the components used in the
model and will also post drivers for the Operating Systems supported by said platform.
