In a WIN2K environment where more than one domain
controller server exists, I wonder if it is possible to
configure the network logon process for user to use one
particular LOGONSERVER?

There isn't anything like setprefdc in nt4, but a couple of things you can
look at. Clients will try to authenticate against a dc in their site first
based on IP header info, so if different sites/subnets are there the client
will try a dc in its site first before trying any dc it can find. They will
also sort of cache the last successful logon dc so if you stop/pause the
netlogon service on other dc/s and they authenticate against the one you
want, they should then try that dc first next time.
