Hi!

Can you run a logonscript when you are connecting with a
VPN connection, to a domain W2k server that runs as a RRAS
server.

Thanks

Uffe

What you can do is copy the "LOGON" script to your local
system. then once you are connected run the script.
Should work fine albeit a little slow. Hope this helps.

Also I tried your suggestion about not using VPN server
and selecting "Remote Access Server" and even removed the
L2TP protocol and I still receive the error " The computer
you're dialing in to does not respond to a network
request."

Any other ideas?

Making a VPN connection is not a logon operation, so it does not trigger a
logon script. If you use the "logon using a dialup connection" option, the
logon script should run.

I am having this very problem. I created logon scripts to
run when remote users dial up and authenticat through our
RAS server (Windows 2003), but the logon script does not
run. If you have any ideas why, I would love to hear
them. Thanks!

Mark
