Logon Prompt

Hi,

If this is not the right place to post please let me know where i should be
posting too.

We have a logon.asp page that allows for a Username and password to be
entered, the error is that affter loging into the .asp application
succesfully, you are reprompted to Authenicate again. To me this sounds like
a application session expiring but i`ve confirmed that the default IIS
session expirery is set to 20mins. Do I need to add the site name as a
trusted site ??

Any Indeas ??? Please ???
I`ve attempted to do this but IE session expires and I have to relogon again.

Hi Steve,

We need more info Steve. Is this a new application or did this just start to
happen to an existing stable application? What are you using for
Authentication? LDAP? or Session Cookies? How are you testing to see if the
User session is timing out? - Does their SessionID change?
