Hi all

I am currently increasing the security on my domain, i am
using windows 2000 advancenced server. My problem is that
when I try to logon as a user from a client machine i am
told " the local policy of this machine does not allow you
to logon interactively."
I have looked at the deny logon locally and logon locally
policies and there seems to be no problem with the user
and his group. Anyone have any ideas? Any help would be
appreciated.

thx in advance

Did you check the local and Default Domain Policy for these user rights. If
the machine account is in any location other than the computers container
then you may also need to check any group policies on those OUs. If the
machine is W2K then can you login with an admin account. Is so look at the
local policy and see what the effective setting is for the two user rights.
