Logon Problem - Applying Settings...

I just installed a new Win2000 server in an environment where I'm currently
running two NT Servers. I am in the processes of changing the domain of the
new server, and using the new server to do all my logins. Everything seems
to be working fine, except when a user logs into the new domain, the
"Applying Settings..." screen is displayed for a good 2 minutes prior to the
login going through. Does anyone have any tips or things I can look at that
might help me solve this problem? So far the workstations that are trying
to log on are using XPPro.

Thanks,
Jeff

Make sure the XP client are configured to point to the DNS server that hosts
the domain SRV records and not to an ISP DNS server.
