It is a fact that you can have two people with the same
logon name in a domain as long as they are in seperate
containers. It is also a fact that the global catalog
allows users to log on easily by using an abstracted
(shortened) UPN (User principal name) rather than
specifying the full domain path. (I.E.
(e-mail address removed) does not have to type the
whole UPN to log in if you abstract the
sls.uk.microsoft.com in the domain tree. The global
catalog allows her to type (e-mail address removed) to log in
instead. Well what happens if their is another user named
(e-mail address removed)? The user is in a different
container but still in the same domain. Maybe I'm
confused. Please assist. Thank you.
