Kathryn

I'll try to make this brief. A month or so ago we tried
peoplepc ISP while retaining our old ISP. After a week we
cancelled peoplepc. Since then we have had the following
problem and neither I nor our ISP can solve it.

When I logon to Outlook Express 6, the following box
appears AFTER I am already on line (this box contains a
picture of a lock and keys):

"Logon - mail.actionnet.net
Please enter your user name and password for the following
server.
Logon Server: mail.actionnet.net
User Name (this line is filled in)
Password: (this line is blank even though I've entered
our password previously when I went on line).

I type in the password and the box goes away and I can use
Outlook.

Please, can someone help me get rid of this box. We
didn't have it before I foolishly tried another ISP
without cancelling our prior ISP.

Thank you.

i know what that is, you set your mail to ask for
password before you get mail instead of auto password.
goto mail than click tools than account, click mail ,than
click your mail service and click properties you can
change it there. but with the way you have it now is
safer because no password means no one can read you mail
from your computer.
