This error message appears on a Windows 2000 computer when
I try to open a newly installed Windows XP Pro computer
named Bevelxp, from within Windows Explorer, and travel
down the tree My Network Places, Entire Network, Microsoft
Windows Network, and then the workgroup Office. We have
no domain. I am successful opening Windows 2000
computers, but not this XP. The ultimate goal is to have
the 2000 computer print to a shared printer on the XP. On
the XP, I have created a user account, which matches the
default login account on the 2000 computer. Currently,
this 2000 computer prints fine to a share on another 2000.

From this 2000, I can ping the XP by name and number. The
XP also pings the 2000. File and printer sharing is set on
the XP, ICF is not selected.

I am able to open another XP computer, and see its shares,
from the 2000 computer. There must be a security setting
on the XP computer that needs to be set, but I don't know
what. Thanks for your help.
