I have customer with 1 main site and 3 remote sites. All the servers are
windows 2000. The pdc is located in the main site. Each remote site has a
backup domain controller.
The problem I am having is that I can not access computers in 1 remote site
by unc name. I can ping the pcs by name and also FQDN. I also can rdp into
the pcs.
But when I try to see the shares on any of these pcs by unc name . A error
comes back saying that there was a logon failure: The target account is
invalid.
I can see the shares on the backup domain controller of that remote site by
unc name. Does anybody have any ideas?
