I am currently running Term Server (App mode) on a member
server in a w2k domain. When an account that does not
have admin rights trys to logon using the Remote Desktop
Client on Win98se, the follow error comes up:
"The system can not log you on (1F). Please try again or
consult your system administrator."
I have already tried to set the local policies on the
Term Server to allow authenticated users to "Logon
Locally". I have also set the Domain Policies on the DC
to allow the same. I ran the secedit /refreshpolicy
machine_policy /enforce command on both machines. None of
this has helped. I also noticed that I cannot logon as a
domian user at the actual server let alone with TS (admin
does work). When I try to logon locally,
the "ctrl+alt+del" box just comes back up after
authenticating. Note: I can logon to the DC locally, just
not the member servers....hmmmmm. Please help if you
can....
Thanks,
