Logon/Domain Server Not Available

After losing my clients Internet connection (another ISP
out of business) the workstations have not been able to
logon. Event Viewer gives me the following:

The computer office2 tried to connect to the server
\\server using the trust relationship established by the
chapinwebster domain. However the computer lost the
correct security identifier when the domain was
reconfigured. Reestablish the trust relationship.

It's Small Business Server, and trusts are not enabled.
I have demoted the server from Active Directory,
recreated user accounts etc. Users get a message, logon
server is not available.

Any ideas? Please email me.
 
Which server did you demote from AD?
How many nics in the SBS? How are you connecting to the internet?
