Let suppose the following scenario:

I have a parent domain name "test.com" and a child domain named
"west.test.com".
How can I enable users form "test.com" to logon and use resouses in
"west.test.com" and vice-versa.

========
Other situation:
I have a parent domain name "br.com" and a other domain named "us.com".
How can I enable users form "br.com" to logon and use resouses in "us.com"
and vice-versa.

The answer is to create trust between these domains

is there chance (on win2K or win2k3) to create one-way trust?

Of course - two way transitivfe trusts are deafult option only between
the domains in the same forest - when You are creating trust between the
domains in different forests on Your own You can create "NT style" trusts.

But I guessed that Trust was created by default in case of parent-child
domains. Is that correct ?
Could you, please, indicate me a KB where I can find how to configure trust
between domains ?

Thanks

yes - this is correct, You should have two way trusts between these
domains in place. Users should be able to log on to the resources
by default" if there are aproperiate permissions deployed on the resources.

They should also be able to log on tho it's domain in the forest - If
You have a problem with it could You tell us what is the nature of this
problem, maybe what error messages You are getting?

How are you loggin in?? are you using UPN's? what's the error you're getting?
