Hi

The Microsoft Logo requirement for a Pocket PC application installation indicates that any DLL files used by the application should be installed in \Windows directory. In order for the application to look for the necessary DLL files in the Windows directory, the GAC should be used. But, the DLL files can be moved to the Windows directory from the GAC only during the first time of the execution of the application, which comes in contrast with what Microsoft says. Is there any other mechanism to be compatible with logo requirements

Thanks

The GAC isn't a separate "directory" per se, they can reside in the \Windows
folder and be in the GAC, in fact I'm not sure you can do otherwise.
