hello,

I'm probably NOT in the proper forum for this, and if you could tell
me a better spot, I'd appreciate it. Logitech's q&a does not seem to
be responding.

I have a 2-player Flash game where I want to assign one set of
commands to one gamepad device, and a separate set of commands to a
second gamepad device - one gamepad has device ID = 1, the other
device ID = 2 - I program one controller and assign it to the game.exe
file, but when I try to assign device #2, it wants to overwrite the
first - is there a way around this? Currently my game (written in
Macromedia Flash) uses the keyboard - player one uses the F1 key, and
number keys 1..4. Player 2 uses the F12 key, and number pad keys
1..4.

Can I not use 2 gamepads for one game?

thank you,
ferd

Chances are the game itself isn't going to take game device data directly.
If you are using the keymapping software provided by Logitech you should be
able to map the keyboard keys for one player to the gamepad buttons, but I
am pretty sure you will end up having the commands mapped to both
controllers. The closest I think you are going to get is for one player to
use a gamepad and one the keyboard. I don't recall any options in the
Logitech software to map keys to specific controllers when more than one is
connected.
