OK, so, about a year and a half ago, I bought the Logitech Cordless MX
Duo, and it has worked fine for me ever since. I never bothered to
install the Logitech drivers for them because the standard Windows ones
have always worked fine for me. Up until a few days ago, I have had no
problems with this keyboard. I went to a LAN party on Saturday, and I
noticed my keyboard was starting to act strange. It would only work at
sporatic intervals, and if it did decide to work, it would work for a
few seconds and then stop again. I thought that maybe my keyboard's
wireless signal was interfering with the wireless signal of one of my
friends who was there. He had a wireless mouse (model unknown) with
him, and I thought that maybe they were on the same frequency, seeing
as how he was having problems with his mouse, too. Then, yesterday, I
was at another LAN party and my keyboard was working fine until my
friend showed up again. I really figured that the signals were just
the same, so I used a wired keyboard that another one of my friends
had. I just unplugged the Logitech one while the computer was running
and plugged in the wired one, and everything worked fine. I got home
from that party and set up my computer again, plugged in all the cables
and such, and turned it on. I got to the XP logon screen and started
typing in my password only to realize that none of the characters that
I was entering were appearing, I tried disconnecting and reconnecting
the keyboard several times and I changed the batteries. After that, I
tried using the "Connect" buttons on my receiver and keyboard. I
pressed connect on the receiver and then connect on my keyboard, but
nothing happened. I tried this a couple more times, and still nothing.
To make sure it wasn't my receiver's connect button screwing up, I
pressed the connect button on my mouse and it worked fine. So, that
leaves me here. I am at a complete loss about how I can get my
keyboard to work. If anyone can help me out, it would be greatly
appreciated.
