I installed mcaffe and did a system scan Now I can not get
access to my windows xp system. My window states it is
loading personal settings, then goes to "logging off" and
then "saving your settings" How do I get access to my
system

Next time you Startup, tap F8 and when you get a Menu choose Safe Mode
with Command Prompt
Do a System Restore from there.

I am having the exact same problem, also having loaded McAfee, but i am not able to get a command prompt in safe mode... it does the exact same,"logging off" and " saving user settings" in that mode... i have tried to run a system restore through using a windows dos boot disk, but it says that this program cannot be run in dos mode.
