I am curently typing from another computer. I logged out from my user account
and the laptop (Sony VAIO) displays errorr saying "uilogon.exe cannot be
"read"" and a yes to terminate and no to debug. But clicking any results in
the same errorr message to be displayed. This occurred when the screen is
displaying its blue background before the user name selection screen.

I then shut it off by pressing the power button. When it booted, a similar
errorr that says "uilogon.exe cannot be "written"". I tried using the last
known good configuration option but a similar error is displayed.
Furthermore, now not even the blue background is displayed; it remains black.
Also, Safe Mode stops loading after Multi(0)disk(0)...\Drivers\Mup.sys

The Windows XP is pre-installed and I do not know whether I possess the
WinXP CD-ROM.

Any help and support is greatly appreciated as that laptop houses some
important data. Thank you for your time.

The pc may have been compromised. There is no such file by that name native
to the operating system.

I may have misread it as uilogon.exe; it may have been uilogin.exe. Anyway,
as I type, the laptop continues to redirect to the "Cannot start succesfully"
boot screen. Also, it is stuck in loading the "d347bus.sys" which takes a
very long time now. Do you have any suggestion as to repair this?

There's no "uilogin.exe" either. Here's some info on the driver.

Thank you very much. This might be the root of the problem. I will try to fix
it.
