Is there a way I can make a log of what all
programs/process are started when Windows XP is started ?

I use Startup Control Panel from Mike Lin (free) at
http://www.mlin.net/ - it won't give you a text list or anything, but
you can see everything that's in the 5 startup lists. You can
deactivate, delete, or add items. And you can add items by dragging
and dropping shortcuts too.
