My system keeps timing out. I tried resetting the options settings but after
30 min. I have to log in and retype my password. It's very annoying. I am
the only person with acess to this computer and like it logged in all day
long!!!

What options did you reset? If you want to have a screensaver but don't
want to log in, uncheck the box on the Display>Screen Saver tab that
says "require password when resuming".

Some additional stuff...

Start > Settings > Control Panel > Classic View > Power applet > set the
Hibernate and Standby options to "never."

You can then set the monitor and the HDD to power down after a certain time
to conserve a bit of energy.
