I have users on a LAN with Active Directory installed and
users at a workstation forget to logout. A screen saver
appears and requires a password, this is a good thing.
However, is there a way to log out users out without
going to the workstation? Many users forget to logout and
was wondering if there is a better way to accomplish from
logging out users from the server.

Hello Eric,

You can Configure Logon Hours as such:

1. Access the user's Properties dialog box in AD Users and Computers and
then choose the Account tab.
2. Click the Logon Hours button. You can now set the valid and invalid
logon hours using the Logon Hours dialog box.

To Enforce Logon Hours:
If you want to foricbly disconnect users when there logon hours expire,
complete the following steps:
1. Access the Group Policy Container you want to work with.
2. Access the Security Options node. Expand Computer Configuration,
Windows Settings, and then Security Settings. In Security Settings, expand
Local Policies and then select Security Options.
3. Double-click "Automatically Log Off Users When Time Expires". This
opens a property box for the policy.
4. Select the "Define This Policy Setting" box and then click Enable.
This turns on the policy restrictions and enforces the logon hours. Click
OK.

It would be nice to give the users a 10 minute warning - does anyone know
how to do this?

Hope this help you Eric.
