Hi,

Does any one have a solution to this problem. I'm using a laptop and travel
between two sites that have differnet domain names and ip addressing.
Obviously every time I change site I have to change domain name and IP
settings.

any help would be appreciated.

It sounds like either both sites are not using DHCP, or
your laptop is not setup to use DHCP. Do you know if theyu
are using DHCP?

Well, it would help to know the OS you're using on the notebook as well as
the type of domain ie: NT4 domain or Windows 2000 domain, etc. Normally the
easiest resolution for something like this is to run Windows 2000 Pro on the
notebook and set it up to use DHCP, you can also add the dns info for both
networks without any conflicts as a general rule and it will use what is
pertinent and ignore the rest. That way you don't have to change a thing,
just logon to whatever domain you require. Hope this helps.
