Hi,

We have a user who is having problems logging on. If she
logs out at night she cannot log back on in the morning
until she has made multiple attempts (up to 100 or so!)
It happens to her on other machines too. If she locks the
workstation instead of logging out this does not happen.

Any one got any ideas? Also how do I find out which DC
has authenticated her other than by looking in the event
log on all the DCs.

Regards
Karl

Hi Karl,

Sounds like she has a corrupted profile on the network. Because you said it is just this one
user, I would create a new account for her (different user name) and see if she still has the
same problems.

To see what DC authenticated her after she logs in, go to a command prompt, type set L and
hit enter. It will show you the logon dC.

Thanks,
Gary
