When I am logging on to XP it says I have 72 messages. When I open Outlook
there is only 2. I have gone through the help, the web site, the newsgroups
and cannot find a way to get this so called mail. Is this XP or Outlook 6?
Thanks

I think you hit the nail on the head!!! I went in and deleted messages in
hotmail.
then I signed off the new messenger, signed off XP. When I returned back
into XP I had reduced the number it was telling me before by exactly what I
had deleted earlier. This has only happened since I downloaded the new
Messenger.
Thank you for answering. Hopefully this will help some one else confused by
the same occurrance!
