Good afternoon to all.

i was wondering if there was a way to have Outlook 2003 log itself off if
it's inactive after a certain amount of time or if it can be logged off
manually?
What I don't want is for people to have access to some of my computers'
Outlook. We had an problem with a person going into my manager's computer
and actually printing emails that she shouldn't have had access to.

Please help.

Thank you.

No, however, you should take advantage of Window's ability to lock itself
when the screensaver kicks on, so that people can't just walk up to a
computer and play with it. Just make sure the 'On resume, password protect'
box is checked and the Wait is set low enough to matter.

However, if they are watching, and the person gets up from the computer
*without locking it* then they could easily get to the computer before it
locks.

Software is powerful, but it can't work around people who don't behave in a
secure manner. Teach the users to lock their workstations when the walk
away from the machine. Always. Every. Time.
