A users credentials are not being checked against the network when
logging in. I forced a password change and it is still accepting the
old password. It appears to be checking the credentials locally and
not against the network. The user cannot access Mapped Drives etc.
How do I force it too look at the network.

sounds like dns issue. can you ping the DNS server?

Yes, the user has mapped drives on the network. If I change the
password on the network it does not allow the user to connect, if the
password is the same it does.

it seems to me that users are using their cached credentials to logon. use
set command to check the logonserver and domain.
