For the last couple of weeks I have had to log in ( even though it says I'm
logged in ), every time my computer goes into screen saver mode. When I come
back to continue with my project or whatever, windows wants me to log in
again. If I'm away from the computer several times during the day, this gets
to be quite annoying. When I click on the " logged in " writing, windows
tells me I have too many programs running at the same time, and allot of the
time I don't have any, or so I think.
any help? The only time I should have to log in is if I shut off my
computer, right?
thanks, ron

Greetings Ron,

I assume you mean Windows itself as opposed to Messenger? To stop this behavior, right-click
on a blank area of the Desktop, choose the Properties option, then Screen Saver tab, uncheck
'On resume, display Welcome screen' and click OK.
