Logging Chat Sessions

Is there some freeware that will log to a text file on the hard drive chat
sessions made in Yahoo, MSN, or AOL?
Adult is trying to monitor her child in the chat rooms to see who she is
chatting with.

When I download and open, I am getting a virus message for file
"bsdhooks.dll", then the setup program starts I am using Avast AV.

After Installation of this 3 day trail, it wants to install a BHO (Spyware).
Is that safe?

It may be detected through a malware profile, for some reason.

Ask the blazingtools crew, if you have concerns, or simply do not use.

I have used the lite version in past, with no apparent problems.
