Logfiles folder

The installation of XP Pro resulted in the folder \Windows\System32\Logfiles
being created. The problem is: It is empty, and always has been.

But, in my \Windows folder I have quite a long list of LOG files, as well
as hundreds of others scattered all over the place.

So, was the \logfiles folder created for some purpose that is not being used
because of something I did, or did not do?

Anybody have a clue?

Hi,

It's a default system folder, and normally holds the logs for users that
install IIS.
