Help
This computer is new to me and I do not know how to
extend the password protection. I will be in the middle
of a program and it asks for my password again.

Please walk me through how to change - extend the
password time.

Hi,

Start/run "control userpasswords2" (without the quotes)

Go to the second (advanced) tab, click the advanced button. Click on the
users folder, then right-click your user account and select properties. Put
a check in the box for "password never expires". Click apply/ok to get back
out.
