Is there anyway to override logon. I am unable to access computer to correct
a wrong. Admin., User, Guest etc. Local policy won't permit me lot logon
interacticely. I don't know anything about domains. Please advice. I know
the password and in findings your name should be in it ( guess what I did)?

You or someone must have modified the user right for logon locally or deny
logon locally. If you are having this problem on a domain computer try
logging onto a domain controller or if the problem is on a domain controller
try logging onto a domain computer and install Adminpak [on install disk in
I386folder] so that you can modify Domain Controller Security Policy to
allow access again. Keep in mind that administrators are also in
users/everyone groups if you tried to configure deny logon locally and that
deny user rights override allow user rights. User rights are located under
security settings/local policies/user rights. -- Steve

First of all I want to thank you for your help. Not sound snarky or anything
of sort. I really don't know about Domains. Where would I find one or how
for that matter. The computer I am on right now is Windows ME and I got a 2nd
hand laptop for the little people, which has the win. 2000 prof. installed on
it. I am not sure how to go about solving the situation.
