I noticed that my Windows XP Professional Edition tooks 5-
15 minutes just to log on the network/domain server.
Anyone please help me on how to solve this?

Check your DNS configuration

is the server a DHCP?

this will work below if it is

start -- run ----
type
cmd

type ipconfig /renew

if your talking to a DNS server a dns suffix will appear
note the DNS server could be failing

a DNS server ip may need to added in the network
properties.

A poorly configured or failing DNS server can really bog
down the log on time :)
