After adding a new Cisco card, I have a problem with my welcome
screen. I want the new one and I can not change it to the classic log
on.
As soon as I hit the "Change the way users logon" button, I get a pop
up that says "A recently installed program has disabled the welcome
screen and Fast User Switching. To restore these features, you must
uninstall the program. The following file might help you identify the
program that made the change: cscogina.dll"
So, I did some research and see this is a bigger problem than just my
computer and looking at the Cisco Aironet 802.11 site mentions
something about copying the msgina.dll file in the WinNT\system32
directory to a file named cscogina.dll. The copy command enables you
to copy a source file to a destination file within the same
directory.
I looked and see that I do have both of the .dll files mentioned
above. I just want clear instructions step by step as to what I am
supposed to be copying and where it is to be pasted. I don't want to
jack up any .dll files.
Thank you in advance!
