I was trying to set up a second computer on my home
network and apparently created a network Log on and
Password. I left the defaults on the
screen "Administrator" as the User Name and "blank" for
the Password. Now when I start my computer, I get a Log
On to Windows pop up screen with
1) User name: with "Administrator" defaulting in
2) Password: with all blank spaces
3) 'Log on using dial-up connection' box
The User name of Administrator and a blank password does
not work and I cannot logon to the computer without
getting past this screen.
1) Is there a standard password which Microsoft uses for
a blank or a back door I can use through safe mode to
logon to my computer?
2) Then, how do I turn off this network password?
Thanks,
Jim
