everyone time i log on a message comes up:" Open File-Security Warning. The
publisher could not be verified. Are you sure you want to run this software."
The name that comes up is windir32.exe. this always comes up automatically
and when i try and cancel it, it says "this application has failed to start
because idle.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this
problem."

thanks

A quick Google shows that windir32.exe is associated with the
WORM_RBOT.BRQ worm. Googling for idle.dll brings up this MS Knowledge
Base article about it being missing:

So, it would seem that your computer is not clean nor is it in tip-top
shape. Go through the virus/malware removal steps outlined here:

Obviously, you're going to want to start with the virus scanning.

A quick search of Google shows that to be malware called WORM_RBOT.BRQ.

You need to scan your computer for Malware with your anitvirus program being
sure to update the virus definitions from your vendors website. If you do
not have antivirus program you can get a quality one free from Grisoft as
shown in the link below or try to use a website to scan your computer. I
would be sure to also scan in Safe Mode. The second link below is to tips
from Microsoft on how to protect your computer. --- Steve
