Hello friends:

I have a user, who is getting this error while he logs onto the active
directory domain "Windows cannot find /idlist;548:2692 Please use correct
name". Does anybody know what might be causing this? Nobody else in the
office has this issue, I looked at his user account properties in Active
Directory, bud did not find anything out of the ordinary. Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Regards

If you disable all group policies at the domain level and at domain controllers OU and then run gpupdate /force on oyour DC, Do you still get the message?

Also, Open a new GPO and link it to the domain controllers OU. Set the following policy on the GPO:
Computer Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> System --> Scripts --> Run Startup scripts asyncronously : ENABLED and
mak sure that Computer Configuration --> Administrative Templates --> System --> Scripts --> Run Startup scripts syncronously is set to disabled or not configured.

Then, run the GPUpdate /force again.
