Log on Email notification

Hi,

Whenever I start windows it brings up the log on screen
and displays "1 unread e-=mail message" under my name. I
check my mail account and nothing appears.

How Can I see where this mail is and how do I stop it
checking for these mails in future

In addition, you can download a tiny registry patch to get
rid of the Unread Mail on the Welcome Screen, download
from here:

Download and install TweakUi for Windows XP from the link below. Once
installed open the program and goto Repair>>Select Unread Mail Account.
